Boil water advisory in place for part of Buckhead after outage

A faulty water valve along Northside Parkway near Howell Mill Road that caused an outage to homes apartments and businesses on Memorial Day has been repaired but a boil water advisory is now in place According to the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management DWM the boil water advisory is for the Nancy Creek Road and Northside Parkway area DWM also called for immediate water restriction to critical uses only to allow system pressures to rebuild according to a declaration from the department The water outage affecting the Northside Parkway corridor and surrounding neighborhoods impacted both residential and commercial areas near I- Northside Parkway and Howell Mill Road including several apartment complexes The boil water advisory will remain in place until DWM is cleared to lift the advisory following sampling protocols The post Boil water advisory in place for part of Buckhead after outage appeared first on Rough Draft Atlanta
