Suspect arrested in multiple residential burglaries in Jacumba

FILE A badge for a San Diego sheriff s deputy Courtesy San Diego County Sheriff s Office A -year-old man was arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in Jacumba law enforcement disclosed Thursday On April Miguel Sua was contacted by deputies from the Sheriff s Rural Command in a neighborhood where a series of burglaries had lately taken place according to the San Diego County Sheriff s Office After completing an initial examination deputies arrested Sua for suspicion of possessing burglary tools and stolen property A follow-up inspection discovered Sua allegedly responsible for multiple burglaries in the area the agency stated On Monday just after a m deputies served a search warrant at Sua s home in Jacumba and determined several firearms ammunition more than a quarter pound of fentanyl and multiple items stolen during other alleged residential burglaries the sheriff s office shared Several of the recovered items have been returned to the casualties Other casualties were being identified Sua was charged with multiple counts of alleged residential burglary representatives commented The sheriff s office was working with the San Diego County District Attorney s Office to add charges of felon in possession of a firearm felon in possession of ammunition possession of fentanyl for sale and additional counts of residential burglary
