Wyoming Weather Tuesday: Sunny Skies, Breezy Conditions and 70° Temps Expected Across the State

After a gusty start to the week much of Wyoming is set to enjoy a milder and sunnier Tuesday with warmer temperatures and lighter winds making conditions far more pleasant The National Weather System in Cheyenne reports that Tuesday s highs will range from the mid- s to the low s offering a calm break from contemporary turbulent weather This marks a noticeable warm-up for late April with majority of locations expecting temperatures to degrees above normal Sunshine will dominate much of the day across the state though a sparse isolated afternoon showers may pop up in various eastern areas Source Cowboy State Daily Pleasant Conditions Across Majority of Cities Major cities including Cheyenne Rawlins and Saratoga can anticipate afternoon highs close to F providing ideal conditions for outdoor exercises yardwork or journey To the north and east towns like Douglas and Lusk will be a bit cooler with highs reaching around F Importantly winds will be lighter than Monday s strong gusts which brought blowing dust and complicated journey conditions to various areas While breezes will persist in open zones like the Shirley Basin and along Interstate overall wind speeds will be much more manageable great news for those planning time outside Slight Chance of Afternoon Showers Despite the mostly dry outlook isolated showers could develop later Tuesday afternoon especially east of the Laramie Range Areas near Torrington and Wheatland may see brief rainfall that could temporarily dampen roads or reduce visibility These showers are not expected to bring severe weather or major rainfall but drivers and outdoor enthusiasts should be aware of the possibility of fast-moving light precipitation in localized areas Majority of the state however will remain dry with abundant sunshine throughout the day Mild Pattern Continues Midweek This stretch of springlike weather is forecast to continue over the next several days with no major systems on the immediate horizon However the National Weather System advises residents to monitor local forecasts as more weather patterns could return later in the week Until then Wyoming residents are encouraged to take advantage of the sunshine enjoy lighter winds and prepare for a gradual transition into warmer spring temperatures The week ahead offers one of the largest part stable and pleasant stretches of weather the state has seen this month
